Foundations

We conduct opinion research for a number of the nation's most respected foundations, focusing in particular on social policy issues. Below are just a few of our clients and the work we have done for them:

Packard Foundation

LRP is conducting a survey in seven states (AL, AZ, CA, IA, GA, NJ, and UT) to understand why eligible families leave the State Child Health Insurance Program.

Kaiser Family Foundation

LRP conducted a national survey of 1,200 low-wage employers to understand their attitudes toward providing health insurance coverage to their workers.

Robert Wood Johnson Foundation

LRP will be conducting a national survey of 3,500 on the issue of long term care for . The survey is part of a multi-phase project exploring public attitudes and behaviors when it comes to long-term care planning. The study has a particular focus on minority populations, and the survey will include oversamples of minority populations to better understand the diversity of opinion and experience on this issue.

Mott Foundation

We conducted a nationwide survey looking at after-school programs -- measuring the need for the programs, voters' desire to have them in their community and their expectations for those programs. We found that nearly three-quarters of voters would be upset if after school programs were not available to children in their area. When they think about the hours after school, voters are most worried about children being alone and unsupervised, followed by peer influence, and watching television.

Benton Foundation

We compiled public opinion research on key issues relating to children's health care to identify trends and prominent themes in attitudes on this issue. These and other projects seek to heighten awareness of the status of children's health care coverage today and point out directions for improving access to care for children.
